Allana participated with Australia at Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her go through a number of seasons without playing before switching back to Rugby League. Allana made her women's debut in the rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana added radio to the roster, and makes frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana, who is not only a sporty person and a teacher, but has also earned a an education degree and has a vast experience outside sport. Allana Ferguson is the only Australian to represent Australia in the rugby sevens competition and in rugby league as well as touch. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson is required to put an abrupt ending to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson tore the ACL four times before she was 15, 17 and twenty. When she was injured the fourth time, suffered the injury, her playing life was done. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's player. The decision to leave was due to her 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson was injured in November in a practice session. The Courier Mail confirmed that the news came this week. Ferguson has been the woman's representative in the women's league for the past couple of seasons.
